Congratulations to Valarie and Mark. They had a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception in front of the line of oaks and house at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant. Their reception was on site at the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall. I met Valarie and Mark for some drinks and then shooting their engagement images last year and from the first time I met them, I knew that we had a really good fit. They are just fun to be around. I have been looking forward to this wedding since hanging with them for the engagement photographs. They proved to have a beautiful ceremony performed by Marks father and a fun and casual reception. You have a really good group of family and friends and it is obvious, they adore you two. Enjoy this teaser of images and check the proofing section of my website for more images.

So the story with the final image is this: We were starting to do the images after the wedding ceremony and Mark says to his new wife and wedding party just off camera… I wish you could photoshop a TIGER in the photo. Well Mark, here you go.

At Fort Moultrie on Sullivan’s Island, there were 100s of actors camping out and even guarding the fort throughout the night. That pup tent is about the only way I could afford living on Sullivan’s Island.
I loved the contrast with the palmettos against the night sky. All of these images were lit solely by the light of the moon.
